Shortly after we announced that our very own Kelly Nuckolls had been named a finalist for this year’s TechX Awards, we found out she was also shortlisted for the 2021 Women in IT Awards in the Digital Transformation Leader of the Year category.
According to the Women in IT Awards, finalists in this category are described as:
A female chief digital officer, digital director or leader of a digital transformation who has led an IT/digital transformation or business change programme driven by technology in the last 18 months. Judges will look at examples of the technology and innovation involved; leadership; best practice; results and return on investment; alignment to business goals; and how culture shifts were managed.
We are extremely proud of this accomplishment and the many other contributions Kelly has made since joining the InfoSystems team in August of 2020. While another leader may have been overwhelmed with the challenge of leading a team remotely and joining a new organization during the height of a global pandemic, Kelly saw nothing, but opportunity and has helped the company flourish over the course of the past year.
Immediately upon joining the team at InfoSystems, Kelly began working toward modernization efforts that were expedited at the onset of the pandemic. As was the case for many businesses in 2020, travel, in-person meetings, and other events came to a halt. Rather than wasting that unclaimed time, Kelly used it to map out a plan to transform InfoSystems’ sales and marketing strategies to keep pace with a rapidly shifting technology landscape.
Please join us in congratulating Kelly on this tremendous honor, and feel free to register for the Women in IT Awards ceremony on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. EST. Click here to register and learn more about the event.
