Throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve been carefully monitoring developments and policy updates provided by public health organizations who aim to keep our communities safe.
As a suite owner and corporate sponsor of the Predators at Bridgestone Arena, we’ve also been in close contact with venue representatives as they revise policies to protect their guests as the delta variant spreads across Tennessee.
“Throughout the pandemic we have been consistent in stating that the health and wellness of all arena guests, Predators fans, our employees, players and performers is our number one priority,” said Sean Henry, President and CEO of Bridgestone Arena and the Nashville Predators in a recent press release. “Just two months ago, we believed that we were returning to a sense of normalcy, but unfortunately, with the impact of the delta variant, that has not been the case."
We shared with you last month that in late July, the CDC announced “a recommendation for fully vaccinated people to wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission.” At that time, Tennessee fell into the high transmission category, and as of mid-September, this is still the case.
We also shared Bridgestone’s COVID-19 policy updates, which have changed since our last outreach. Starting Oct. 2, the arena will require those 12 and older to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test. Other previously established policies, such as masking in common areas of the arena, remain in place.
For more information surrounding Bridgestone’s pandemic health and safety protocols, scroll to the end of this post for highlights. You may also read the arena’s comprehensive policy, and/or review this press release, both authored by Bridgestone Arena leadership.
We’ve heard from partners and friends who feel comfortable attending in-person events, and we’ve heard from those who don’t. After wading through the trenches of a global pandemic for the first time in our lives, we understand that while we may have varying levels of comfort, we all simply want to remain safe and healthy. This is our number one priority as well.
We’d love to have a chance to reconnect with those of you who are comfortable at a Preds game, and it’s our promise to you that we’ll honor best practices and safety protocols. If you have questions about what that might look like or individual concerns you’d like to discuss, we’d be happy to talk with you one-on-one.
Bridgestone Arena also welcomes questions and feedback via email at email@example.com.

A Detailed List of Precautions at Bridgestone
If you’d like to read Bridgestone’s policies in full, you can find those here. We wanted to highlight a few:
- “Effective Oct. 2, all guests aged 12 and older will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test administered by a healthcare professional within 72 hours prior to the event that includes their name and the date of the test to attend all Nashville Predators games and events held at the venue.”
- Per recommendations set forth by the CDC, masking in all indoor areas of Bridgestone is recommended at all times, aside from when guests are actively eating or drinking.
- “Frequently touched areas will be sanitized prior to, during and after an event.”
- Hand sanitizer stations will be available in all areas.
- Bridgestone was awarded the WELL Health-Safety seal for Facility Operations and Management by the International WELL Building Institute after undergoing a third-party evaluation of safety policies and procedures.
- Bridgestone requests that anyone feeling ill stay home.
Additional protocols, including partitions at points of sale stations, mobile-only ticketing, and touchless payment also remain in place. However, as a guest of our suite, you would have even less interaction with these situations, as food and drink are provided, and we’ll gather in a private area.
If you have questions about attendance or policies, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
