Clay Hales founded InfoSystems in 1994 and has more than 35 years of experience in the information systems industry. Clay is a recognized expert in IT consulting and solution design, having led hundreds of successful network and system installation projects. He has held many exclusive industry designations, including serving as a member of the Global Business Partner Advisory Council for IBM (fewer than 50 members in the world) for nearly a decade, and is a sought-after speaker at many industry events.
Scott Davis brings 38 years of technology industry experience to InfoSystems. Most recently, he served as a Client Solution Executive at IBM, where he managed multidisciplinary solution design teams to develop complex infrastructure solutions for IBM's largest engagements. Scott focused on creating effective partnerships with clients' senior executive teams and aligning customers' business strategy, drivers and goals throughout the solution development cycle. Prior to Scott's 16 years with IBM, he worked for Entex Information Systems, DecisionOne, Wang, and served in the U.S. Navy.
Keith Hales is responsible for leading the Administrative, Accounting and Sales Teams at InfoSystems. Building on a successful 10-year run in a direct sales role, Keith took over management of the InfoSystems Sales team in 2018. Keith brings a client-first and business value approach to a technical industry, and is leading our team in a period of industry transition, growth and ever-changing client needs. Keith holds a Management degree from Carson-Newman University and has earned his Master’s in Business Administration through UT Knoxville’s Professional MBA program.
Fred Cobb is a senior IT professional with a proven record of achievements and experience that have involved systems engineering, systems architecture, security program development, network administration, security operations center design, life cycle management, IT project management and ITIL/ITSM implementation. His career in IT includes more than 25 years with Hewlett-Packard (HP) where he served in multiple technical roles. Specialized in all phases of IT operations and IT security, Fred has served as an Enterprise Administrator, Information Systems Security Officer, Virtual Chief Security Officer (vCSO) and Data Center Operations Manager for multiple critical business operations. Fred was an IT instructor for a number of years and has helped over 900 students in their pursuit of various certifications. Fred holds a B.S. in Applied Management from Tusculum College.
Robert Goodwin leads the InfoSystems engineering services team and project management office. He brings over 20 years of technology industry experience to InfoSystems. Joining InfoSystems in 2008, he led the design and implementation of enterprise solutions in storage architecture while focusing on customer needs and satisfaction. He holds 20+ leading industry technical certifications as well as project management certification.
Christopher Kotte is the Vice President of Enterprise Sales at InfoSystems. Prior to joining InfoSystems in 2014, Mr. Kotte served as the General Manager and Market Leader in the Central United States for Insight, a Fortune 500 technology reseller. At Insight, he was responsible for all sales and comprehensive operations in a five-state territory. During his career, Mr. Kotte has held multiple key leadership positions within sales and services, working collaboratively with both field and inside sales teams. He has worked and consulted for some of the world's most respected organizations including Cisco, Deloitte & Touche, J.P. Morgan, State Farm, General Motors and Big Lots. Christopher holds a Bachelor's Degree from Ohio University.
A renowned business development leader, Chris Gilbert, spearheads InfoSystems’ key growth initiatives across the United States in his role as Vice President of Sales. Chris began his career in information technology in 1987 with IBM. During the three decades since, his work has included leading some of IBM’s largest global accounts while earning numerous distinctions for his sales leadership and results. Chris is also a United States Navy Veteran and served during the Iraq War.
With over 15 years of experience in the IT channel, Kelly is a dynamic professional with an aptitude not only for the creative side, but also the business side of marketing strategy. Kelly's background and experience prove expertise in strategically integrated services for technology solution providers that increase client and channel awareness and optimize revenue streams. She is well-versed in today’s IT challenges and has the ability to translate technical capabilities into ROI, including next-gen solutions such as automation, cloud and edge computing, cybersecurity and resilience, AI and machine learning. She has been recognized multiple years on CRN’s prestigious Women of the Channel list, honoring outstanding leadership and vision in driving technology growth and innovation. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Auburn University, as well as multiple professional sales and technical certifications from IBM and Red Hat.
Jaclyn Walliser oversees InfoSystems’ legal responsibilities in her role as In-House Counsel and Chief Legal Officer (CLO). She also serves a dual role as Director of Human Resources. Jaclyn graduated from Regent University School of Law in May 2015 with her Juris Doctorate and became a licensed attorney in the State of Tennessee in November 2015. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in May 2008 with a B.S. in Political Science and a Minor in Legal Assistance Studies. In her role as CLO, she ensures that the company stays up to date on all laws relating to the IT industry, as well as to employee laws, and successfully handles any legal problems that may arise. In her role as HR Director, Jaclyn ensures that the employees feel appreciated, receive proper training, and are receiving proper leadership through a never-ending process of learning, growing, and raising better leaders and building a better, happier workforce.
Sherry Phillips Davis is equipped with over 35 years of experience in business administration and accounting. Her expertise is in management and finance. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Lee University and has served in the capacity of controller and CFO for many years managing multi-company corporations. She started her journey with InfoSystems in 2015.
