InfoSystems is seeking to hire a Level 1 Technical Support Engineer to work within our Customer Support Operations Center (CSOC) to:

  • Provide Tier 1 support to end users and customers
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support via phone, web-based tools and email
  • Advise customers regarding the product’s proper use and address specific user issues
  • Work with clients and Tier 2 support
  • Document and maintain records in call tracking system of all information pertaining to customer problems or requests
  • Effectively use resources for problem resolution
  • Escalate open incidents in a timely manner

This role will report to the Customer Support Operations Center (CSOC) Manager who is responsible for the service and delivery of solutions to our customers. Job responsibilities for the Level 1 Technical Support Engineer include:

  • Thoughtfully supporting clients upon engagement
  • Collaboratively working on projects with other engineers
  • Following up with tickets to ensure issue resolution
  • Documenting all interactions with end users, processes, and customer systems
  • Researching and recommending solutions for technical needs
  • Onboarding new clients and analyzing their environment
  • Implementing optimal hardware and software solutions for client organizations
  • Traveling onsite to resolve customer issues on an as needed basis
  • Working with the sales team on pre-sales initiatives as needed
  • Consistently staying educated on best practices related to client needs
  • Demonstrated record of professional development

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role requires a significant amount of time in front of a computer and on the phone. Occasionally, this role requires lifting of heavy equipment.

LOCATION

The ideal candidate is expected to have a meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.

To ensure success, our Cybersecurity Engineer must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using firewalls, VPN, data loss prevention, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, end-point protection, MDR, MFA, networking architecture, CIS benchmarked, web-proxy and various security audits. Top candidates will be comfortable working with a variety of technologies, including (but not limited to) servers and infrastructure, hypervisors and virtualization, Cisco, SonicWall, Cylance and SIEM. The candidate should be able to confidently analyze clients’ security posture and seek improvements on a continuous basis, report possible threats, research weaknesses and find ways to counter them and find cost-effective solutions to their cybersecurity challenges.

This role would report to InfoSystems’ CISO and work directly with sales, technical, managed services and marketing teams.

Cybersecurity Engineer Responsibilities

  • Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading security measures for the protection of our clients’ data, systems and networks
  • Troubleshooting of security and network problems
  • Responding to system and/or network security breaches
  • Ensuring that client data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls
  • Participating in the change management process
  • Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities
  • Daily administrative tasks, reporting and communication with the relevant departments in the organization

Cybersecurity Engineer Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification
  • 5+ years of work experience in the cybersecurity arena
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credentials
  • Strong knowledge in the following areas of cybersecurity: Firewall Management Services, HIPAA Risk & Gap Assessment, Incident Response & Remediation, Mobile Device Management, NIST Security Controls, Penetration Testing, Security Information & Event Management, Simulated Phishing & Employee Awareness Training, SOC 2 Compliance, Vendor Risk Assessment
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Sales Support Specialist Responsibilities

  • Communicate daily with sales team and key stakeholders
  • Assist with managing Hubspot opportunity inventory and maintaining data integrity within accounts and opportunities
  • Serve as internal resource for the sales team regarding channel sales operations
  • Maintain a high level of vendor, product and pricing programs to effectively quote solutions
  • Process incoming order requests from partners, including purchase orders and sales quotes
  • Identify and communicates options available for issue resolution, as needed
  • Managing backlogs, including but not limited to: deal registration process and order progression
  • Maintain accountability for the order through the invoicing process and for assisting in research and resolution of order issues as appropriate
  • Support the billing and collections processes

Sales Support Specialist Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3 years of sales-related experience in information technology (IT), with specific vendor knowledge around IBM, Red Hat, Dell Technologies, Cisco and other industry leaders
  • Understanding and experience of distributor relationships within channel sales
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to accurately prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills sufficient to work in a remote team environment
  • Demonstrated operational knowledge and skill in the effective use of CRM systems, order entry and related programs and processes
