Senior Network Engineer Responsibilities

  • Provide network design services which meet and exceed the needs of clients representing multiple industries and technical requirements (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
  • Implement, patch, and maintain network firewalls, routers, switches to industry best practices.
  • Develop detailed implementation plans to accommodate network growth, security, and enhancements by maximizing functionality of network equipment
  • Technical research and analysis of data traffic patterns within network infrastructure, detecting operational problems and recommending improvements to ensure optimal performance
  • Understand and deploy network security and access control models
  • Participate in the on-call rotation
  • Work with the Project Management Office (PMO) to set priority on service tickets and project tasks
  • Function as a consultative, client-focused pre-sales engineer; accurately convey the organization’s services to prospective clients as strategic solutions to improve their business operations
  • Lead meetings and present information to C-suite executives and other key personnel
  • Provide additional revenue by always being aware of upgrade opportunities within existing engagements, or new opportunities within a client’s organization
  • Attend trade shows, marketing functions, technical training, and other programs as assigned

Senior Network Engineer Preferred Qualifications

  • Extremely high ethical values and standards

  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure networks
  • In-depth understanding of communication protocols and routing protocols
  • In-depth understanding of telecommunication circuits
  • Experience in implementing various network products

  • Experience with multiple network and routing vendors, ethernet, and fibre channel
  • Experience in consultative pre-sales engineering solutions; preferably within an information technology framework

Sales Support Specialist Responsibilities

  • Communicate daily with sales team and key stakeholders
  • Assist with managing Hubspot opportunity inventory and maintaining data integrity within accounts and opportunities
  • Serve as internal resource for the sales team regarding channel sales operations
  • Maintain a high level of vendor, product and pricing programs to effectively quote solutions
